Baltimore MD: Lobby 101 Seminar – Nov. 16, 2009

From the Humane Society of the United States: Link

“The Humane Society of the United States and Maryland Votes for Animals are hosting a free Lobby 101 seminar on Monday, November 16 in Baltimore where participants will learn how to make a tremendous difference for animals in Maryland.

The U.S. Congress and the Maryland state legislature will be considering legislation that would significantly impact animals, such as bills to strengthen Maryland’s animal cruelty laws and crack down on puppy mills. We want you to know the most effective ways to get involved and communicate your message.

We will show you basic, but effective, lobby techniques for citizen activists and provide information regarding some of the bills and issues being considered this year. Please take time to attend this meeting to support the ongoing efforts to protect the animals of Maryland and beyond. This event is free of charge, but an RSVP is requested to attend. Click here to RSVP now.”
